Human After All

“Human After All” is a coffee table book accompanied by an art exhibit featuring photographic portraits on canvas. The project explores the vulnerabilities of humankind while empowering both subject and viewer to examine sociopolitical barriers through an artistic lens. Individuals who face unfair marginalization through stereotypes or other social injustices have shared their struggles and their victories in an effort to humanize the physical and emotional existence of everyday life. These stories, each one unique and powerful, recognize and acknowledge that adversity does not discriminate. Through compassion and empathy, we hope to change hearts and minds by becoming more conscious about the everyday experience of those around us.
